December and 2018 are coming to an end, ladies and gentlemen. The curtain may be closing, but like a play, the curtain will rise again and something new will arise, 2019. But before the new year, why don't we run down memory lane this month and see what we've done.
Book Fair:
We had the Book Fair this month from 12/3 to 12/7. It was your ordinary run of the mill Santa Teresa Elementary School Book Fair. Unless you count the fact that you had to guess the number of "Unicorn Poop" in a jar because the theme was "Magical Forest". 😂😂😂 Whoever guessed the closest to the number of "Unicorn Poop" in the jar could take it home! I didn't think anyone would want to get a jar of "Unicorn Poop" as a prize. I'm sure their parents wouldn't be so thrilled if their child brought home a jar of "Unicorn Poop.". Luckily the "Unicorn Poop" was actually Skittles so thank goodness for that.
Comment Activity!
Try and see how many times I said "Unicorn Poop" up above and type it down in the comments!
Art:
In art we learned about first point perspective and how it can make a drawing look like we're looking from far away. We read a book called "Snowmen at Night" which had a lot of first point perspectives. We did an art project based on the book too. We had to recreate a scene, or make our own, "Snowmen at Night" scene with first point perspective.
Upcoming events:
Christmas: 12/25
Christmas break: 12/22-1/7
Oh, and remember, be careful how you treat others this Christmas, otherwise you might not be invited back. No one wants to be:
