A Month of Math
Unfortunately, this month we didn't have as much activites as the last two months, but at least we have completed the third month of the 2018 year! Anyway, we have learned a lot in math, so I'll start with that first. In math, we learned about dividing unit fractions by whole numbers/whole numbers divided by unit fractions, fractions multiplied by fractions, and whole numbers multiplied by fractions. Wow, that was quite a mouth full.
Are you ready because IReady.
This month we had IReady two iready tests. One for math and one for reading. We are all very proud for all of the students who worked very hard to finish the test at the end.
The other things we learned this month!
We have learned many other things this month! Thanks to school, our brains grow! So let's start with Writing, in writing we learned how to write hooks. We also did an informational text essay about a subject we want to learn! Another thing, we did was RACE. RACE helps us not to plagiarize and helps us restate the question with evidence from the text. Next in SS/Science, we learned about the original 13 colonies! We have to create a poster with information about our colony and we have to create a skit. We are still waiting to perform our skits, so good luck to the performers! Now saving best for last, we did art! Since, we have already finished our concert we are currently no longer doing music on Mondays, but don't be sad because now we have art on Mondays! Unfortunately, Monday art is for 5th grade, but at least 4th grade gets to do it on Tuesday!
Save the Clovers for next year! April is now in the house!
Sadly, March has came to the end and now April is taking over! With Spring and a week off how could you not resist! Let's hope April will be as much great as March! COMMENT QUESTION: What did you do on the weekend?
