For years, Colonists were loyal to the Crown (England) and highly regarded England. Disapproval over the way England had been treating the Colonies was on the rise for many reasons. However, two major reasons that got many people realizing England wasn't treating the Colonies fairly were the following three issues: The expensive French and Indian War, resulting in the passing of the Proclamation Act of 1763.
