Operation #1 | THE LESSON
Since we are all "professional surgeons", let's break down THE LESSON process. First in math, we learned about Fractions as Division and Adding Fractions. Some of us had trouble, but we still got through it. Second in ELA, we learned about Informational Text and more Inferencing. We also started LIT Circles. All of the groups are progressing quickly as they're already getting new group books! Unfortunately, we had no pow this month, but maybe we're done with that excercise for now.

Operation #2 | 2 types of Arts
Wow! It looks like not only are we "professional surgeons", but we are also "professional artists." During the month, we had two types of lessons each week. Which were Art and Music on Monday and Tuesday! We also had a music concert to perform for the younger grades and our parents. In my opinion, I think it is really fun and it really prepares us for Road to the Revoulution in May!
Operation #3 | The Final Stitch Up
Finally near the end of the month, we had an event called jump rope for heart. Jum rope for heart is basically a donation drive to collect money for children with heart diseases, in trade for the donations the children at our school get themed prizes for how much money they have collected. A few weeks later we had Jump Rope for Heart day, during the day we did some activites. For Example, bean bag tossing, basketball, hoola-hoop, and more! Another thing we did this month, is having a Valentine's day party. We had yummy treats, such as , cookies, chips, fruit, and chocolates. Some students were kind enough to get our classroom valentines!
