We read more of because of mr. terupt...such an upset!! However, we won't give away the climax- what fun would that be?
We continue to work on inferences and supporting them with evidence from the text. I feel that we are going to be rock stars...just saying. Students are continuing to read and "sell" their books to classmates for LIterature circles. Some groups will be meeting for the first time on Friday and others are rapidly becoming experts on running this activity. Students are studying for vocab tests and finishing VOCAB menus- Due on MONDAY!! TEst tomorrow. 4th grade has been working on a vocabulary play, and we are excited to see how it turns out. Valentine's Day is around the corner, so please remember to bring in your items. WE did receive plenty of paper goods and utensils. Don't forget to do recycling!! Homework: Math test Prep page. Read 30 minutes/log Get your Lit Circle work complete!! Vocab menu Dreambox and Iready Students have been assigned a reading circle group. All groups meet on Fridays for discussion. Each student has a job that will be completed and ready to share on Friday discussion days. Jobs will rotate each week.
